How you will Achieve More with Intellia:
As the Manager, Learning & Development (L&D), you will support L&D’s ability to deliver on our strategic priorities. This includes delivery of distance learning programs, instructor-led programs, and other identified training opportunities and methodologies. In this unique role you will have the opportunity to partner with the head of L&D to design and deliver high impact programs and learning interventions in many cases from the ground up. Additional role responsibilities include:
Provide end-to-end learning performance consulting
Develop learning collateral grounded in L&D best practices (e.g., PowerPoint information decks, quick cards, etc.)
Meet with key stakeholders and HRBP’s across the business to understand what is going on in the business and where learning could help support
Support administration and execution of offerings
Act as a team member or lead of prioritized L&D strategic efforts including but not limited to our Employee Engagement and L&D Survey Strategy, HR Functional Onboarding, LMS design/implementation, and Professional Development Programs
Serve as the primary facilitator for our New Employee Introduction to Insights Discovery
Serve as back-up facilitator/program coordinator for our New Employee Orientation Program
Facilitate other HR specific information sessions as needed (e.g., year-end performance, goal setting)
About You:
Our ideal candidate will possess strong facilitation skills and knowledge of training program design and delivery methods that engage and excite our employees to want to continue to learn, grow and develop. Additional core competencies include:
Ease working with groups of all sizes and at all levels in the organization
Excellent facilitation skills grounded in adult learning theory and practice
Instructional design methods
Ability to design and develop training materials and supporting collateral as necessary

The Learning & Development team reports up through HR and is truly seen as a strategic partner to the business. The L&D function is relatively new and evolving; there is a lot of room for growth and development in this role. We take pride in creating simple, scalable, and measurable training interventions that help increase the capabilities of our employees and ultimately the ability to meet our business goals and objectives. We achieve this through maintaining ongoing familiarity with best practices and innovations to stay on the cutting edge of Learning and Development, Career Development and Performance Management disciplines.
While our team is still primarily working virtually, this role is a hybrid role that will eventually require you to go on-site a few days a week. We are a fun group and love variety; there are many L&D efforts and opportunities underway that will enable you to make a real impact at Intellia now and in the future!
