General Overview
As a member of the Mass General Brigham Compensation team, under supervision of the Sr. HR Director, this position provides analytical support for the Compensation team. Specific job responsibilities include systems analysis and data collection, end user support for the systems we use to deliver our Compensation programs and to provide metrics that are aligned with the MGB goals and objectives. They will also perform data auditing and metric analysis using multiple data sources to provide data needed for business decision making. The incumbent will be expected to identify issues/problems and offer resolutions for current business procedures.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
• Produce and deliver standard and complex compensation reports.
• Create complex queries and distribute reports that meet the business needs of the Compensation department.
• Assist with preparing data for participation in assigned salary surveys to ensure external pay competitiveness.
• Assist the compensation team to prepare and maintain the systems to support the salary review and update process.
• Assist with the maintenance of Compensation data tools including an on-line compensation pricing tool.
• Respond to data requests on an ad hoc basis by gathering, analyzing, and reporting relevant data from various sources.
• Collaborate with the team on a high volume of system-related activities in a timely fashion while maintaining a high level of quality and internal customer satisfaction
• Maintain Compensation data integrity by ensuring accuracy and consistency of input data. Audit data and troubleshoot irregularities.

Qualifications
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree Required, preferably with a concentration in Human Resources, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field.
• 5 years' experience required, preferably in a Human Resources, Healthcare, or related setting.
• Hands-on experience developing and managing databases, data collection and demonstrated skills in data management.
• Ability to work with large data sets
• Working knowledge of SQL and Business Intelligence tools, such as Business Objects, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau or others preferred.
• Previous experience with PeopleSoft strongly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of PC applications, e.g., Microsoft Office Suite.
• A combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements.

• Possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with cross functional teams including staff at all levels of the organization
• Ability to successfully negotiate and collaborate with others of different skill sets
• Strong problem solving and negotiation skills
• Ability to effectively conduct meetings, both formal and informal
• Requires minimal direction from leadership and possesses the ability to learn quickly
• PeopleSoft/Oracle or large complex relational database experience required.
• SQL, store procedures, VB and/or ASP .net experience is preferred.
• Advance user of Microsoft Office products
• Excellent communication abilities - written, verbal and public speaking.
• Experience in handling high volume, multiple tasks and a wide range of customers.
• Ability to manage sensitive situations.
