This role will join the HR Operations Team at Scale and be directly responsible for supporting our International expansion efforts. This position will collaborate very closely with Finance, Legal, Security/IT, Recruiting and other members of the People Operations team.
You Will:
Oversee the creation and execution of our employment solutions roadmap, ensuring clearly aligned actions to business strategies and needs
Drive HR analysis and approval process for new international location requests, working closely with other stakeholders on the International Expansion team
Handle country conversions from Contractor to EOR/Entity or EOR to Entity
Serve as HR point of contact in supporting the establishment of new global entities, in partnership with International Expansion team
Oversee and maintain relationships with EOR/PEOs, including the setup of new geographies
Establish onboarding processes, as well as coordinate policies and benefits for all new international locations
Partner with Operations Team on their international expansion planning
Partner with local HR Operation team members to ensure HR compliance in both new and existing international locations
Partner with Legal / Tax on international employment and contractual requirements
Identify process inefficiencies and inconsistencies and collaborate towards an improved and more productive process that improves the employee experience and/or G&A team workflows
Ideally Youd Have:
Experience in supporting establishment of new corporate entities from HR standpoint (contracts, benefits, payroll, conversions, policies, comms)
Understand differences and pros/cons between IC, PEO, EOR, ENR, Entity engagement models
Understand complexity of considerations from important stakeholders (legal, security/IT, finance) of new geographies
Strong understanding of employment law considerations when entering new geography
Strong understanding of employment law considerations when giving internal guidance in locations we’re already operating in
Problem solving for business outcomes while bringing together the complex HR, legal, tax, and security considerations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven organizational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to prioritize.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Team player who can jump in and support the team on a variety of topics and tasks.
High sense of urgency and accuracy.
Bachelors degree or 5 years related experience.
Experience at a growth-stage tech company is preferred.
