The Manager, Learning & Development supports the company mission and employee value proposition by engaging, developing, and enabling employees at every stage of the employee journey.
The Manager, Learning and Development acts as the subject matter expert in learning and development, employee engagement, and contributes to the overall HR strategy to achieve business objectives.
Responsible for the analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation and maintenance of Sales Training and program.
Use instructional systems design methodologies to analyze, design, develop, and evaluate technical curriculum.
Develop and implement multiple training programs specific to each audience while coordinating with project leaders, subject matter experts, technical reviewers, management, Sales Training staff and external sales partners.
Design, develop, and maintain web-based and print-based material including self-study guides, quick reference guides, job-aides, online tutorials and help files.
Evaluate the effectiveness of existing materials and revise materials for projects supported by Sales Training.
Ensure materials are instructionally sound and meet the performance requirements.
Partner withHR and company leadership to develop talent development strategies to support company goals and mission
Provide strategic direction for learning and development programs
Develop internal subject matter expertise to scale knowledge and skills across the business via train the trainer program
Consult and partner with the Office of the CTO to develop and deliver DLT Technology Domain Training
Continued development of DLT Sales Mastery training program
Work with Market Executives to create and deliver public sector market knowledge training and assets to grow sales staff knowledge and awareness
Partner with HR team to establish and facilitate new employee day one experience
Maintain, modify, and update DLT University course materials and assets
Support and coach training coordinator around administration of DLT learning management system and training calendar
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree
5-8 years professional experience in a Sales training related field with a minimum of 5 of those years in a full-time position, designing and developing training programs utilizing a systematic process
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
Experience managing and successfully completing complex projects
Ability to manage and influence those who do not directly report to you
Team-focused with heavy orientation to supporting others in their career success
Strong customer focus and understanding of employee value proposition strategies
Experience using and managing learning management system
Self-motivated, self starter with a track record for delivering training programs
Strong project management and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advanced curriculum design skills
Advanced proficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
SPHR or SHRM-SCP
Passion for learning and development and human resources
High Level of Emotional Intelligence
Experience using MS SharePoint
