JOB OVERVIEW
The Office of Enrollment Management at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is accepting applications for a Sr. Human Resources Coordinator that will report to the Business Officer of Enrollment Management. The person in this role will support various departments and will serve as an information resource and consult with staff on HR policies, procedures, processes, diversity initiatives, employee relations and performance management. This role will also be responsible for the coordination of division efforts to promote a positive culture and professional development. The Sr HR Coordinator position will ensure delivery of excellent customer service, strong communication, teamwork and collaboration in contributing to efforts to support and standardize processes and procedures.
This position will offer flexibility for a hybrid remote work option for applicants with a residence within the Cincinnati Tri-State Area. Hybrid remote work arrangements are subject to change in accordance with university policies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*Will coordinate HR functions for an operating unit. *Work with Talent Acquisition on job postings, recruitment, and selection process. May prepare job postings to fill vacancies. *May facilitate employee evaluation process and review employee retention programs and policies. *Coordinate payroll processing for organizational unit. *Act as Personnel Change Request (PCR) initiator for organizational unit. Analyze various HR data for quality improvement recommendations. *Assist with implementing policies to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Coordinate project management functions for a unit. *Must maintain confidentiality with high level of integrity. Responsible for accurate and timely storage of HR-related documents in accordance with UC's Records Retention Schedule. *May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.). *Perform related duties based on departmental need. REQUIRED EDUCATION
*Bachelor's Degree *Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Three (3) years of Human Resources experience.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS CONSIDERED
*Familiarity with equal opportunity, diversity, and inclusion efforts. *Excellent verbal and written communication skills. *Prior college or university experience in human resources. *Familiarity with UC-Flex HR functions and SuccessFactors a plus. *Previous experience with UC systems, policies and procedures. *Strong organizational and time management skills.
