Our award-winning workplace culture is centered on inclusion and kindness, and we're looking for people to join our mission to be a force for good in the world. Come build a better future with us across automotive, communications, the environment and more.
We want to do everything we can to keep our employees safe and healthy. Reasonable accommodations for medical and religious objections will of course be considered.

Everyone loves being rewarded and recognized for their outstanding work. Incentive programs also inspire employees to work smarter. Let's face it, we appreciate...well, being appreciated. So, how would you like to be the architect of compensation programs and incentive plans designed for our terrific teams at Cox Communications?
This sweet role gives you the opportunity to align these programs with Cox's compensation policy and our overall talent strategy as the Director of Compensation and Rewards. You'll oversee the alignment of employee pay levels with the value of the respective jobs, not to mention employee performance and job evaluations.
You'll make sure all our pay programs are compliant and legally sound, while creating and managing our enterprise-wide career framework, which is host to our overall job hierarchy and pay structure. And all the admin tools, processes, and policies for our incentive plans will be yours to shape.
Sound like an adventure you'd want to suit up for? Dig in...we've got more to share!
What You'll Do
We all want to do rewarding work...and it's extra sweet when that work can involve supporting how your colleagues are rewarded. The role of Compensation and Rewards Director is an invitation to lead AND collaborate.
Direction and design are a big part of this role, and while those may sound like categories for the Oscars, they're really just a fancy way of saying you'll be leading the development and oversight of a lot of cool compensation elements, like for executive programs, base pay recommendations, incentive plans, perquisites, auditing and compliance, and technology solutions. Maybe you should snag that Oscar for Best Director after all.
You'll oversee market research to support changes in pay plans and programs so we stay competitive in the marketplace, while staying consistent with our own internal standards. We'll look for your legendary leadership to provide oversight for Cox's rewards and recognition philosophy and tools, and rely on your recommendations around approaches to important items like merit, equity, and salary structures in our lifecycle pay practices.
You'll combine forces with the Human Resources (HR) Solutions team to create business plans and make the right moves when dealing with competitive labor market conditions. The HR folks will also be your collaborative partners on select job and market evaluation projects.
You'll also be a people manager, selecting and overseeing department staff members, setting performance standards, finalizing goals for your department, doing performance reviews, and managing salary decisions. People management might move outside the confines of Cox as well, as you select third-party consultants and vendors we need to keep our department running smoothly. You'll handle relationships with those vendors, as well as any contracts or budgeting needs that arise from those connections.
What's In It For You?
Good question. Cox believes in supporting everyone on our team, and that would include competitive pay and a busload of benefits that give you options and opportunities to grow and thrive.
We'll set you up with a competitive salary and load you up with some great benefits, from retirement (a company matching 401(K)), Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits from day one, tuition reimbursement, and free internet and other discounted services from Cox Communications (in certain markets).
We're big on work-life balance, so expect some flexible vacation days, plus paid holidays.
We're also big on inclusion and we want you to bring your authentic self to your work. We believe in mutual respect and honoring who people are ... if you feel the same way, you've found the right place. So know that we want you to feel at home...and to make others feel at home as well.
We know you like to give back to the community, so we make it easy to do so, with employee volunteer opportunities.
If this role feels like a great fit, we're happy to support your long career on that path. However, if you find you have different aspirations, well, we want you to grow with us...so if a different area of the Cox ecosystem fuels your ambition, let us help you map your way there. You may have guessed by now, but we don't do corporate ladders here. We do jungle gyms. So climb, swing, and explore. Earn an advanced degree, learn a new skill, join a mentoring program. It's all there for you...so let us know how we can help you grow.
Qualifications:
