As a Talent Acquisition Manager for Optometrist Recruiting, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of doctor recruiters, supporting recruiting and hiring Optometrists for both existing and new **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. retail stores. You will also take on the important role of creating an unmatched experience as we network with optometry schools, industry partners, and associations presenting **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. as the premier retailer for Optometrist. This is the perfect position for someone who is a brand ambassador who takes pride in sourcing and hiring the best Optometrists in the country.
This role can be based out of our New York headquarters or based remotely in the East Coast region.
What you’ll do:
Lead Optometrist Recruiting team, supporting sourcing and hiring for all open OD roles (new stores existing market locations)
Inspire, motivate and develop a team of 2-3 individuals
Ability to work well in a team environment and build effective relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional partners (Eye Care and Vision Services, Field Leaders, Talent Managers, Human Resources) to ensure alignment of the OD recruitment process
Network, recruit and build relationships with Optometrists (experienced and new grads) and develop a pipeline of doctors interested in building a practice within our retail locations
Contribute to ongoing process improvement efforts, while ensuring accurate reporting (analysis of candidate flow, cost per hire, turnover, and attrition, accepted/unaccepted offers, etc.)
Ability to prioritize and reprioritize in a fast-paced, high volume recruiting environment
Skilled in current recruiting technologies, including but not limited to; Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, social and onboarding tools
Knowledge and experience in Diverse and Inclusive Competency-based interviewing
Strong Business Acumen, understanding the business and ensures talent strategies and plans are focused on driving a necessary business outcome
Partner with the Programs Associate Manager and Brand team to create the communications and collateral necessary to attract Optometrist talent to the organization
Develop partnerships and support external events with Optometry partners: schools, industry, state associations, speaking engagements
Create a new cadence for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. sponsored events for established optometrists and pre-optometry students (store events fireside virtual chats)
Establish clinical externship sites with the partnership of the Vision Services team in PC and Employed Locations
Build mentor opportunities for current **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Optometrists in CBSA’s shared by Optometry schools
Build and foster relationships with organizations centered around increasing diversity in the Optometry field
Who you are:
3 years of full-lifecycle recruiting experience and working with senior-level talent in complex roles
Knowledge of various practice modalities: Employed, Sublease, PC model
People management experience
A problem-solver who thinks creatively to drive innovative sourcing strategies and unparalleled candidate experiences
Proven track record of strong organizational skills, team collaboration, and resourcefulness
A motivated, self-starter with a passion (and understanding!) of the brand
A strong written and verbal communicator
Someone with the ability to travel up to 35% of the time
