Job Description:
PURPOSE
Delivering operational excellence in Payroll for Argentina, ensuring legal, tax and accounting local payroll requirements
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Perform all local payroll activities for both, local and expat staff, ensuring appropriate records management, tax and other legal / business compliance.
Ensure controls and accounting operations are performed.
Process required payments on a timely manner, sucha us: monthly salaries, salary advances, severances, loans, etc.
Excecute and control appropriate payments to all employees, tax authorities, social security, unions (among others) through appropriate payment systems.
Ensuring that payroll issues of employees are resolved timely and accurately.
Wage Tax and Social Security contributions are remitted and reported accurately and timely
Providing payroll related support for expatriate/IBAS remuneration transactions including facilitating contact with related support services.
Manage payroll related transaction for Pension Fund (both local and expats) and other employee benefits with payroll impact.
Leading continuous improvement plans in HR processes and systems.
Provide necessary support to the HR team for payroll related data-mining.
Providing payroll related support for internal and external stakeholders where required (HR team, tax, regulatory bodies, etc).
Providing support to the respective finance team with regards to all related actuarial data queries, including valuation of gratuity and pension funds.
Managing monthly financial closing of Payroll related reports & audits thereon.
Managing SAP related transactions; Work together with SAP architects and HR Service Centers to ensure all legal, union agreements and tax changes are timely and accurately implemented in Shell People Payroll.
Managing and providing the necessary guidance, coaching and mentoring to the HR Advisor - Payroll or other payroll team members where required.

Requirements:
Skills & Knowledge:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or any related area.
Intermediate or above English Skills.
Deep subject matter expertise in country-specific payroll compliance requirements
Ability to follow up, understand and agree on impacts to rapidely implement local legal, tax or union agreements
Collaboration/integrative leadership with broader Payroll team and other parts of the HR organization
Effective consulting skills: diagnosis, inquiry, contracting and facilitation – to accurately scope the required work, assess resources required, contract the right team and facilitate defined interventions.
Effective use of data and trend analysis to determine root cause and to define and track relevant business outcomes.
Ability to influence and deliver through others.
Effective coach to cross-functional, virtual teams beyond formal line of authority.
Proactivity
Experience working with SAP PY is expected. Workday knowledge is a plus.
