The RVP of Human Resources
serves as the lead HR business partner for the home health business at a region level, implementing HR best practices and advising on diverse people strategies that align with operational goals. Builds strong business relationships with region and area operations, sales, and clinical leaders, applying broad HR expertise in areas including coaching and development, strategic workforce planning, performance management, policy and procedure, compliance, employment law, risk assessment, investigations, application of compensation practices/methods, and talent acquisition. Analyzes performance metrics to assess progress to key performance indicators within their respective region.
Acts as senior HR business partner and consultant to region and area leadership; coaches and provides insight on people strategy best practices, compliance, policies/procedures.
Provides leadership, and guidance to the regional HR support team to ensure strong performance and internal customer service to the region.
Guides strategic workforce planning for the region, including succession planning for key positions and ensuring appropriate alignment with productivity, growth/expansion objectives, staffing model, and applicable pay methodology.
Assesses and reports on performance analytics including retention, exit data, hiring trends, capacity/growth, and productivity; identify gaps, conducts root cause analyses, and crafts complementary strategies that align with operational priorities and key performance indicators.
Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in people management.
Collaborates with HR colleagues and specialty partners including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, leaves of absence, compliance, payroll, workers’ compensation, learning and development, Inclusion, and Diversity.
Leads change management projects and manage HR-related internal and external communication.
Communicates, implements, and supports various initiatives and updates to processes, policies, systems, and practices.
Presents and reports on regional HR metrics and strategic priorities to senior leadership.
Facilitates education on various HR topics within the region.
Conducts and/or supervises HR investigations and ensures appropriate follow-up.
Provides advice and direction relative to HR policy interpretation and compliance.
Ensures adherence to federal, state, and/or municipal employment law, as well as industry regulations.

Demonstrated experience coaching and advising senior leaders on human resource strategy.
Possesses broad subject matter expertise in HR disciplines and concepts including leadership development, workforce planning, performance management, change management, succession planning, benefits, leaves of absence, complex compensation structures, and talent acquisition.
Thorough knowledge of Federal and state employment law and regulatory compliance.
Proven experience leading a high-functioning human resource team.
Ability to understand, interpret, and provide meaningful insight into various performance analytics.
Ability to conduct objective and compliant investigations and risk assessments.
Exercises independent judgment, problem-solving, decision-making on complex issues.
Experienced with leading and/or facilitating effective change initiatives.
Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively as a leader and as a member of a team.
Ability to effectively manage several urgent priorities and demonstrate agility as needs shift.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly and confidently present to and communicate with a variety of audiences including field associates and executive leadership.
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of all employee, patient, and business information to assure patient and/or employee rights are protected.
Proficient in navigating HRIS, business intelligence software, and other technology necessary to perform essential functions of the role.
Must read, write and speak fluent English.
Approximate percent of time required to travel: 10-20%
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field required, Master’s preferred
PHR/SPHR certification desired
Requires minimum eight years broad Human Resources experience; preferably in a healthcare setting and/or with a multi-site, multi-state employer.
Requires a minimum of five years management/leadership experience
