POSITION PURPOSE:
Support Snelling’s business objectives by sourcing, interviewing, evaluating and placing qualified Associates while insuring only the best applicants are dispatched in the positions that suit their qualifications. This position requires daily interaction with clients regarding their staffing needs.
DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES – ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, media and internet sites, provides organization information, opportunities and maintains rapport with these agencies.
Attracts applicants additionally by placing job advertisements online or print as needed within operating budget.
Identifies new business opportunities through review of applications, resumes and references.
Maintains client relationships, identifies specific needs and seeks out new revenue opportunities whenever possible.
Determines applicant requirements by evaluating job descriptions and qualifications and interaction with the client.
Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants with a consistent set of qualifications, analyzes responses, verifies references, compares qualifications to job order requirements in accordance with existing client base.
Maintains accurate documentation on all candidate, Associate and client interactions and ensures the information is updated daily by entering job orders as well as applicant information in the office database.
Maintains personnel records to insure that all applicants/employees are acknowledging required company policy and procedures including all safety training provided by Snelling.
Responsible for transactions on the payroll process, including reviewing time sheets to insure all are received in a timely manner, reviews the accuracy of payroll reports.
Resolves discrepancies regarding hours worked and hours approved by the client prior to invoicing.
Upholds recruiting best practices by maintaining and protecting highly sensitive and confidential information.
Conducts customer service calls ensuring Snelling Associates have arrived on time to their assignments; have performed their duties according to the job order requirements; records performance issues (both successes and areas for improvement) for coaching or counseling by Branch Manager; ends assignments and reassigns Snelling Associates as needed.
Will work at the direction of the Branch Manager and as approved for overtime to fill ASAP job orders as required.
On occasion may accompany Account Executive(s) on facility tours if needed to assess and review safety issues, conduct Worksite Safety Evaluations, and increase sales opportunities .
Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resources preferred
An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
2 years of professional experience in a customer service oriented environment
Staffing industry experience or administrative support required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILIITES:
Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills necessary
Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) required
Must demonstrate ability to work independently, multi-task and possess strong organizational skills
Support diversity by demonstrating flexibility, openness, respect and sensitivity in effectively interacting with candidates and clients at all levels
Strong customer service and business development skills required, results drive
