The Sr. Human Resources Representative (Corp) is the primary contact for their designated population of associates within the Corporate Office. You will be responsible for providing detailed and accurate information as it pertains to payroll information, benefits, company policies or procedures, and State and Federal Laws. The Sr. HR Representative is responsible for ensuring a high level of customer service, timely processing of all HR related changes, and possess the ability to be a team player within the department. You will be responsible for a large amount of administrative duties for approximately 500 associates.
Participates in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars.
Maintain and audit weekly/monthly reports and distribute accordingly.
Work closely with payroll to ensure that accurate and timely pay is being issued when processing new hires, transfers, salary increases or terminations.
Ensure State and Federal documents (I-9’s, W-4, Minor Work Permits etc.) are filled out correctly, are present and comply with applicable laws in addition to meeting Company’s Policy and Procedure requirements.
Assists in development and implementation of internal policies and procedures
Work closely with Recruitment team to ensure all New Associates have completed the necessary background checks prior to starting is completed
Verifies the integrity and completion of all New Hire documentation to meet or exceed the requirements of Sarbanes- Oxley and Internal Audit.
Executing and overseeing the Associate onboarding process.
Guiding and consulting associates on various issues and queries
Partner with Leave of Absence Administrator on Short Term and Long Term Disability cases. Involved in extensive communication with the associate , his/her Manager and the appropriate HR Manager to ensure all information is covered, ensures HIPPA compliance, and coordinates with Federal and State FMLA laws, responsible for sending out all required notification letters to the associate. Tracks information in a detailed LOA log.
Responsible for accurate benefits enrollment processing ensuring all enrollments meet IRS regulations. Responsible for collecting benefits premiums that may have been missed and communicating that amount to the associate. Collaborating with Benefits Department on resolving benefit related issues.
Directly responsible for all Annual Open Enrollment for population. Direct contact for questions, and sending follow up information.
Collaborate with other HR teams to ensure all common areas of interest are addressed.
Serve as a training resource for all new HR teams throughout the Corp offices as well as a resource for HR teams in our warehouses.
Annual review of State Labor Law postings to ensure compliance. When applicable, updating all posting within office.
Partner with Leave of Absence Administrator to ensure expedited workers’ compensation claims by ensuring timely entry into Workers Compensation carrier’s online reporting system. Work as a liaison between Workers Compensation Carrier and associate. Ensure applicable benefit premiums are being paid. Work with Workers Compensation carrier, Associate’s Manager, and HR Manager to coordinate a return to work or possible modified duty to allow associate back to work as soon as possible.
Working closely with the unemployment vendor to ensure all unemployment claims are processed and communicated to state and vendor timely and accurately to avoid the least negative impact on PVH.
Directly responsible for all changes to associates records in a timely manner in HR system- salary, promotions, demotions, reduction of hours, increase in hours, terminations. Ensuring all supporting documentation is reviewed with associate and filed with information.
Understanding and communicating the objectives for the Company and Human Resources department.
Counseling associates when required.
Collaborating on revised or new HR processes or practices based on the company’s needs.
Special projects as needed.
EDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree
EXPERIENCE:
2-5 years related experience
SKILLS:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail oriented and organization ability. Multi-tasking, flexible, and analytical.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment. PC skills (MS Word, Excel, Power Point). Knowledge of Workday system a plus.
