Garman Builders is a well-established, successful, growing residential construction company serving the Central Pennsylvania region.
The AP and Payroll Specialist ensures vendors get paid for services and products and completes payroll for all Garman entities. Responsibilities include:
Process Accounts Payable for multi-company structure, finding and resolving discrepancies as applicable.
Prepare payroll related reports and resolve issues with the payroll system and Team Member pay.
Review items in payroll system for accuracy and verify changes prior to bi-weekly processing.
Assist the Controller in reporting and with the month end close process.
This is an in-person position at our office in Lititz, PA. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a solid understanding of payrolling and accounting principles and the ability to process payroll in a multi-company structure. Requirements include:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent accounting experience
Previous Accounts Payable experience desired
Experience in residential construction preferred
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Experience with iSolved, Sage 300 and QuickBooks a plus
