Payroll Manager Jobs description
A payroll manager is responsible for managing work concerned with employee payrolls. Typical duties of a payroll manager include ensuring timely and accurate review and closing of monthly accounting transactions, financial analysis, ensuring that accounting is done in compliance with GAAP, identifying process improvements, supervising payroll executives and accountants, and participating in budget preparation. A payroll manager typically reports to the accounting director.A payroll manager should have a bachelor's degree in accounting and several years of relevant experience. Excellent academic credentials and mathematical ability are essential for such positions.
