The Benefits Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support for employees – both active and terminated, retirees, and their dependents concerning their US benefits, including 401(k), profit-sharing, pension, retiree medical, medical, dental, vision, spending accounts, health savings account, disability, life, accident and ancillary plans such as legal, identity theft and critical illness insurance.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Answers email and telephone queries and documents details into the query-tracking system.
Works with benefits partners to resolve escalated queries.
Compiles data and generates reports.
Conducts benefits orientation presentations, as needed.
Participates in testing of benefit systems.
Assists with the coaching and development of new team members.
Identifies and participates in continuous improvement initiatives.
Leads or participates in special projects, such as benefit record archival and coordination of fitness fairs and wellness challenges.
Complies with all applicable Schlumberger standards and policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
3-5 years of experience in benefits administration as an individual contributor.
Experience in web-based applications.
Knowledge of SAP preferred.
Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
