The Benefits Analyst – Health & Wellbeing Plans will function as a liaison between U.S. and global benefit plans. The Analyst will support the administration of health and wellbeing plans such as healthcare, EAP, Work/Life as well as other wellbeing programs. The Analyst will be responsible for supporting overall wellbeing initiatives, utilizing data from the plans to help formulate solutions. This position reports directly to the Director, Health and Welfare Plans (U.S.).
Analyzes utilization and data from database systems to assess engagement and performance of benefit and wellbeing program
Collect, analyze and summarize employee benefit data and surveys for benefits competitiveness and trends & make recommendations from findings
Provides input and guides the production of wellbeing newsletters and communications and other wellbeing related initiatives
Reviews data such as open rate for associate communications and bulletins & provide recommendations to manager to education, increase awareness and utilization
Provides wellbeing support, including Virgin Pulse platform management and other wellbeing vendors, including but not limited to reporting, data files, troubleshooting
Development and oversight of communications related to new hire orientation including presentations, benefit guides, updates to the benefits portal and other related systems
Supports RFP process for related benefit plans; responds to RFP data requests, gathers supporting documentation and assists with disseminating and analyzing RFP results
Actively participates in the design and testing of new benefit plans in Workday, TRS and wellbeing portal
Prepares and process monthly invoices for benefit plans
Gathers data and reporting for monthly budget reports
Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations and firm policies surrounding assigned plans
Identify opportunities for operational improvements and shares recommendations with Manager of Health and Welfare
Supports on planning and launch of annual benefits fairs and vaccine programs
Provide project management support on special projects as needed such as projects related to health and wellbeing including onsite health clinic implementation, support with wellbeing champion rollout
Qualifications:
4-5 years of experience with health and welfare plans
Experience and understanding of ERISA regulations, and other applicable federal, state and local laws
Strong attention to detail
Advanced level skills with Microsoft office products
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Strong planning and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as a team player
Accountable individual who makes good use of time management skills to exceed in meeting deadlines
Bachelor’s Degree is required
