Responsibilities:
Responsible for processing contributions and loan payments received from clients
Process income associated with the funds held in the plan
Prepare daily, weekly and quarterly reconciliation of plans
Maintain contribution files and scanning of plan documents
Assist in setup of new plans on the record keeping system
Assist in conversion of existing plans
Review of various reports for participant data
Resolve problem issues
Responsible for the transfer of files between the two different systems
Assist in other areas in operations as needed
Requirements:
1-2 years of experience in employee benefits
1-2 years of accounting experience
Ability to retain numerous and varied processing procedures
Ability to meet deadlines, and handle fluctuations in work volume
Ability to learn various systems used for processing work flow
Proficient in Excel, ability to work with complex Excel spreadsheets
Need to possess good reconciliation skills, organizational skills as well as oral and written communication skills
Need to possess good problem-solving skills
Need to be able to coordinate with administrators regarding work requests
Ability to analyze errors in processing, or delays in posting of contributions, loan payment or investment changes received, could create significant losses due to market fluctuations
