As part of the GE Aerospace HR Systems separation workstream, The Sr Staff Technical Program Manager – HR Separation is a temporary role that will support the separation of GE Aerospace into an independent, investor-grade company.
Job Description
In this role, you will:
Collaborate with various corporate teams, Aviation functional partners and Aviation and Corporate technology leadership to determine strategies for separation
Outline project strategy aligned to deliver on the expected outcomes to ensure a successful spin
Define execution methodologies and project management practices to be followed by all projects within the program
Manage day-to-day execution of multiple interdependent projects by working directly with corporate teams, along with Aviation functional and technical teams
Support execution of Separation related projects with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies. Partner with technical and functional teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as required
Manage project risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the life of the project
Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting at various levels of the organization including leadership and executives related to separation activities
Perform initial and final financial reviews, and ensure ongoing budget tracking
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 8 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 10 years of professional experience
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in IT Project Management
Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

Desired Skills:
Proven experience using project management methodologies to deliver business value and drive significant change across an organization
Experience managing budgets including budget and spend
Strong understanding and knowledge of various project and portfolio management methodologies with track record of implementing shared standards for large organizations
Strong leadership skills with ability to influence outcomes and organize teams to attain shared goals
Excellent influencing, interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal) with all levels of an organization
Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and / or industry activities
Strong team player – collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources
Experience working with others on a global basis
PMP, ScrumMaster or related Project Management certifications
The salary range for this position is $127,900-$213,200. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive plan.
