Essential Functions:
Full cycle onboarding for all new hires within Workday and any other recruiting systems
Communicate updates with hiring managers and confirms ready-to-start dates for new hires
Collect I-9 documents and process all new hire documents
Partner with benefits department to ensure all new hire information is processed correctly to feed into our benefit portals; follows up with new hires 30 days out to support new hire benefit enrollment
Run reports in Workday for new hire/onboarding to target areas of need as well as provide metrics for Senior Management
Provide communications to new hires and hiring managers regarding their onboarding status and takes steps to troubleshoot and/or move process to completion
Partner with the Human Resources department to improve and refine the onboarding process, new hire experience and to stay up to date with associated labor laws
Monitor the Jobs Inbox to address questions and issues that arise regarding hiring and onboarding
Assist with new hire surveys and pulse survey process and provide reporting to Senior Management
Other duties as assigned
Skills & Competencies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Positive outlook and genuine enthusiasm for helping individuals in the recruiting and onboarding process
Highly organized and able to complete tasks within deadlines
Ability to target root causes and provide solutions
Proficiency or ability to become proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Education & Experience
Bachelors Degree preferred
1-3 years of experience working in Human Resources, Recruiting or Onboarding
2 years working with an enterprise HRIS such as Workday, Oracle or SAP; Workday strongly preferred
