Education and Experience:
2 years of Human Resources experience. Exposure to construction industry preferred.
High School diploma required. Associates degree in Human Resources or similar field experience preferred (but not required).
PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred (but not required).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bilingual - ability to speak Spanish and English required.
Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Experience with SharePoint, Viewpoint, Software preferred.
Excellent organizational skills.
Dependability and professionalism.
Maintain confidentiality on sensitive documents.
Ability to communicate effectively with multiple team members.
Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks in fast paced environment.

We are seeking a Human Resources/Recruiting Specialist
in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Summary
The Human Resources Specialist will assist with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department and recruiting in the Mid-Atlantic region (MD/DC/VA)
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Conducts new employee orientations, including policy review, benefits review, completion of new hire paperwork, and assignment of safety gear.
Verifies employment eligibility in Federal E-Verify system.
Communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations.
Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and team members relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes.
Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
Maintain HRIS system
Assists with the recruitment efforts for hourly non-exempt positions in the Mid-Atlantic region (MD/DC/VA).
Perform administrative duties (front desk coverage, incoming/outgoing mail, FedEx, etc.) and additional assignments as needed.
