We are seeking a Bill of Materials Management for a very important client.
Provides technical support to Programs on a variety of tasks with focus on Bill of Materials Management. Review and Process engineering documentation on Product Data management system. Monitors Product Data Management tool process compliance. Maintains complex data sets from multiple Product Data Management System Databases. Prepare and support contract deliveries and proposal activities related to Bills of Material Management. Performs detailed comparison / reconciliation calculations; preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided; and quantitative judgments concerning technical data. Attend meetings with engineering/program management for status reporting; Support ISO, CMMI, Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), Quality and corporate audits. Continuously strives to maintain and enhance the technical reputation of the Company with customers and industry. Maintains familiarity with industry practices, trends, and applications to enhance the organization?s technical capabilities. Maintains a safe work environment and ensures compliance with safety objectives and policies. Shares responsibility of self-development with immediate supervisor
Requirement:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills required; Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; attention to detail, coupled with good time management and organization skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Sound interpersonal and professional skills for interfacing and coordinating with company personnel, customers, and suppliers. Ability to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations. General knowledge of Configuration/Data Management principals, such as MIL-HDBK-61 and EIA-649. Understanding of mechanical drawings, specifications, Engineering change (ECR, ECO and ECPs), Product trees, Work Breakdown Structures, Technical reports, Data items (Contract Data Requirements Lists), and military standards are desired; General knowledge of mechanical and electrical design, development and manufacturing; Experience with the use of a Product Data Management (PDM) system with regards to Bills of Materials Management. Familiarity with CAD applications, preferably PTC Creo/ProE. Understanding of Engineering / Manufacturing / Operations processes; Excellent computer skills, with a solid understanding of the typical PC applications especially MS Office Excel and Word.
Experience Required Previous Defense or Automotive Industry with the use of a Product Data Management (PDM) system, such as PTC Windchill experience with regard to Bills of Material management is required.
Experience Preferred Experience with PTC Windchill PDM Bill of Material Management highly desirable. Familiarity with CAD applications, preferably PTC Creo/ProE.
Education Required a Bachelor's or Associates Degree or 3 years work experience or equivalent experience
