Our rapidly growing Dallas area client company is seeking a remote Benefits Compliance Specialist to join the team responsible for benefits compliance. This is a multi-faceted role that entails collaboration with the customer success team, the software development team, executives, and clients.
To be considered, candidates must have specific practical experience with ERISA Wrap and Cafeteria documents, plan documents, POP documents, and Section 125; and be able to collect and analyze benefits plan documentation and operations; perform functions such as data validation, data extracts, conduct focused analyses, and develop reports; interact with subject matter experts, project team members and development personnel; prepare quality client presentation materials; and research and review regulatory bulletins and other sources of information.
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; have 1-3 years of related work experience in a customer facing role; have demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word for developing reports and presenting findings; have strong data management, data manipulation, and analytical skills; have excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of positions within the organization; be able to coordinate with and/or manage individuals and project work streams and produce quality deliverables on time and within budget; be able to recognize and diagnose issues, work in teams, leverage the resources of other related practices to address client challenges; and be able to summarize and communicate complex ideas to key project stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.
This is a 100% remote permanent full-time opportunity for candidates living in Texas and Michigan; if living elsewhere, this is a 100% remote 1099 contract role. Salary for candidates with 1-3 years of experience in benefits compliance starts at $70K and will increase up to $90K commensurate with greater experience.
