Duties
SUMMARY
The Training & Development
Specialist is responsible for designing and implementing learning and development
programs, including testing and evaluation procedures; creating, revising,
delivering and tracking all training that supports the needs of the Client
Accounting department, including, training in software applications and
soft skills, in both physical and virtual classroom settings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Train all users, domestic and
international, on Aderant Expert, ensuring thorough knowledge of system,
macro reporting tools and various data entry and reporting features of
Star*Collect/NG
Actively participate in the
testing and rollout of new system features
Partner with Client Accounting
managers and supervisors to validate and develop soft skills training programs
Plan, research, write, and produce
technical training materials for new software products and features, including
PowerPoint presentations, training manuals, handouts, practice exercises
and system documentation
Collaborates with IT to create
and maintain an interactive e-learning platform for Client Accounting training
modules
Conduct training needs analysis
of global Client Accounting staff and coordinate with Global Managers on
specific skills training
Utilize e-learning techniques,
creating and delivers e-learning packages, including on-demand training
Evaluates and revises training
and development programs as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring
in the work environment
Engages in strategic planning
by developing supporting training objectives for Client Accounting department
Requirements
5 years of related experience
with at least 3 years of applications training
Corporate training experience
preferred
Ability to gain a strong command
of new systems, including ADERANT and Star*Collect/NG
Expert knowledge in Windows
and the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
Knowledge of programs and tools
for video conference and web-based training
Proficient in training methodologies
and curriculum development
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting,
organizational, and planning skills
Flexibility to accommodate various
time zones and work with a global workforce
Certified professional in training
field
Bachelor's degree required,
Master's degree preferred
