PVH is looking to build a world-class, effective and influential workforce management team to help execute on our business plans with increased efficiency and global alignment. This role will build and lead this function as well as establish the tools and processes required to implement a workforce management and planning strategy within the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up a successful workforce management function from the ground up and will be passionate about and skilled at establishing headcount plans to provide strategic guidance to drive business results, improve labor cost management, have curious mind and have strong analytical and consultative skills.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Build an effective and well respected workforce planning function
Establish relationships with HR Business Partners, Finance and Business Leaders at all levels in order to quantify clear headcount goals especially cross-functional alignment and work closely with Talent Acquisition to ensure they are aware of and planning for enterprise-wide hiring needs
Work cross-functionally to track and plan for organization-wide initiatives
Initiate and lead projects/project teams to implement improvement initiatives designed to maximize resources across the centers and like functions
Oversee the development of workforce planning tools and models
Identify operational metrics and work closely with the People Analytics team who will deliver all necessary people metrics
Research and report on benchmarks to help measure efficiencies
Develop a decision support plan that incorporates corporate objectives, financial goals and staff modeling and can be used by the organization to manage headcount in a thoughtful way. You will establish a governance model to ensure the decision support plan is followed.
Develop executive level presentations to elaborate on the workforce strategy and get buy-in
Partner with Talent Management, Organization Effectiveness and Learning & Development teams to develop our internal capabilities as well.
Identify operational weaknesses and help improve or innovate new processes to keep teams as efficient as possible
Report frequently on plan variances, draw insights to understand the variances and adjust plans accordingly
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience:
A minimum of 5+ years of Workforce Management, Forecasting, Statistical Analysis or related experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, economics or equivalent work experience required, Master’s preferred
Skills:
Significant leadership experience hiring and managing teams in a fast paced, operational environment
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish strong relationships with different teams and senior leaders across multiple functions
Experience evaluating, selecting and implementing workforce management tools
Strong decision making, critical thinking, written and verbal presentation skills
Retail industry experience is preferred
