Main Duties & Responsibilities:
This role will research, develop and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified talent for the organization. Cascading the strategies and methods to all Regional locations via Regional Vice Presidents & HR Administrators. This role owns recruiting and staffing for all Chicago and national based field personnel as well as professional level positions. Provides guidance and feedback to Reginal Vice President on recruiting performance and effectiveness. This role will monitor recruiting KPIs. Responsible for successful hiring, onboarding and short and long-term retention. Gather feedback from exiting employees to best provide opportunities for improvement for the organization.
Duties/Responsibilities
Workforce Recruiting Plan:
related to understanding field staffing needs to achieve revenue and profitability targets for the region. Aligning strategies that are scalable and effective.
Assessing needs of each Division by working with the Regional Vice President
Understanding skills and experience at each level, hiring appropriately
Marketing Efforts
: related to understanding the needs of the company and being able to appeal to potential future hires
Exploring out of the box ideas to recruit, nationally and locally
Participation in national and local hiring events
Use of Social Media platforms to make direct contact with potential hires
Job Board Management
: related to owning the administration of all company job boards for all regions. Working with local HR administrators to manage applicants through ATS.
Full Cycle Recruiting:
related to executing on the recruiting needs with a sense of urgency and clarity. Providing ample qualified candidates in a timely fashion.
Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
