JOB SUMMARY
The Sr. Manager, CEC Talent Management will report directly to the VP, CEC Human Resources. They focus on delivering HR support services that meet or exceed the needs of the CEC organization.
They will function as a key contributor to the talent acquisition, experience of our CEC associates. They will support the execution and evolution of critical strategies that enhance and drive positive associate experiences related to external recruitment, internal recruiting for specialty associates, career movement and development and career progression. The Sr. Manager, CEC Talent Management will work closely with our recruitment partners, Community Based Organizations, as well as numerous internal teams and site-based stakeholders to ensure associate experiences in the hiring process are positive and that candidates and associates understand how the hiring and onboarding process as well as internal movement and career progression works for them. Primary responsibilities include managing the external hiring process, specialty recruitment and marketing, task force, internal career development and pathing as well as the end-to-end process of matching associates to open positions based on performance, to ensure Knowledge Group staffing needs are met through career progression
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE/CANDIDATE PROFILE
Technical Expertise (Learning and Applying Personal Expertise)
The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:
Manages the end-to-end CEC Career Progression
process of matching associates to open Core Services positions based on their KPI performance
Partners with site leaders, DHR's, and Site Staffing Specialists to drive interest in Career Progression opportunities
Provide feedback to sites on statistics of Career Progression at their location, by knowledge group; collaborate to address concerns, trends and questions
Supports the staffing strategy of Specialty level roles in conjunction with WFM - Forecasting and local sites
Develop reports with Career Progression stats; conduct trend analysis and provide insights to inform future strategy
Enhances and evolves Career Progression materials to keep them relevant, drive interest and provide education in the career progression model
Coordinates posting of specialty level positions in sites as needed
Develops internal marketing materials to promote career progression opportunities globally in cooperation with the Communications team
Support Task Force process
External Talent Acquisition (Recruitment and Selection)
Supports the Managers, CEC Staffing Support as backup during absence or peak times as needed.
Assists sites with pre-screening, interviewing, and submitting offers to mHUB
Coordinates with sites to maintain relationships and develop new partnerships with Community Based Organizations
Support the EID and system onboarding process in cooperation with training and technology
Develop and support social media campaigns
Partner with internal Marriott TA resources to maintain and implement hiring assessments
Assist with expediting pre-hire checks as needed
Workforce Management / Training
Establishes relationship with Workforce Management to ensure establish guidelines are being followed
Partners with Workforce Management team to provide feedback and establish efficiencies within scheduling processes
Liaison to training teams, ensures ensuring efficient and effective communication of class starts and participants
Collaborates with training team on regular basis to ensure required trainings are completed
Associate Engagement
Develop a list of best practices and regularly shares information with broader HR team related to successful efforts to drive interested in career progression
Administration
Supports the maintenance of the Human Resource Information System in accordance with Human Resources Standard Operating Procedures
Support sites with mHUB through initial troubleshooting or providing updates on enhancements or issues
Maintain Smartsheets as appropriate for reporting about new hire achievements
Maintain smartsheet with CEC budgeted counts and IDs
Develop and maintain job descriptions
Other
Complete other projects as assigned, e.g. taskforce, to meet business needs.
Candidate Profile
Experience
Education and Experience
Associate's Degree; 5 years of experience in Human Resources or a related professional field or equivalent experience.
OR
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Human Resources or a related professional area, from an accredited university; 1 - 2 years of analysis, design and administration experience including compliance with relevant state and federal laws.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Demonstrated experience interacting effectively as a team member or consultant with all levels of associates.
Ability to perform independently under limited supervision.
Experience in planning, leading, and coordinating small projects.
Strong MS Office skills including Word and Excel are required; Access proficiency a plus. PeopleSoft experience is preferred.

Benefits and incentive compensation may be subject to generally applicable eligibility, waiting period, contribution, and other requirements and conditions. Colorado applicants only: The salary range for this position is $68,775 to $133,653 annually.
