Job Description Summary:

The GW Medical Faculty Associates was incorporated in July 2000 as a non-profit, physician-led practice group and is the largest independent physician practice in the Washington DC metro region with more than 750 providers. Physicians provide comprehensive patient care, offering one practice for the whole person with 52 medical and surgical specialties. As members of the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences faculty, the majority of providers are teachers and mentors for medical students, residents, and researchers preserving our rich tradition of academics, research, and healing. has active referring relationships with 12 area hospitals.
The **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. and the GW Medical Faculty Associates, each a standalone organization, taken together comprise the 'enterprises', jointly committed to the success of GW's teaching, research, public service, and physician-led practice missions. Talent Acquisition and Recruitment within University Human Resources works with applicants, the human resources service delivery team, and hiring managers to effectively and efficiently manage the recruitment of staff. Talent Acquisition and Recruitment develop processes to meet the university's goal of bringing together talented people from diverse backgrounds that support GW's teaching, research, and public service mission; and individuals who embrace the GW values of learning, communication, community, diversity, excellence, respect, service, sustainability, and teamwork. In support of these goals, Talent Acquisition and Recruitment seeks a Recruitment Coordinator.
This position supports the recruiting activities of the university and the recruiting staff. The core responsibilities of this role are to post jobs on internal and external websites, to provide customer service for internal clients and external applicants, to process hiring documentation and background checks, and to produce offer letters.
This position may also monitor a portfolio to ensure advertising produces a reasonable quantity of applicants, and will participate in and support various recruiting activities (e.g. job fairs, phone screens, reference checks). Reporting to the Assistant Director of Talent Acquisition and Recruitment, the Recruitment Coordinator's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Post jobs on internal gwu.jobs website and external websites; provide posting guidance and support. Monitor assigned job requisitions to ensure advertising produces a reasonable quantity of applicants. Process hiring proposals, background checks, and produce offer letters.
Respond to applicant inquiries. Participate in various recruiting activities (e.g. job fairs, new hire orientation).
Performs other related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.
Minimum Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will hold a high school diploma/
GED
plus 1.5 years of relevant professional experience, or, a Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant area of study. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
