A Day in the Life
The IT Recruitment Manager is an avid networker, adept in technology employment trends. This individual leads a team of Recruiters driving high levels of performance.
Setting the example through individual production, the IT Recruitment Manager establishes and develops relationships with candidates as well as works with one or more Business Development Managers to fulfill exciting project and direct-hire positions in the areas of information technology, ranging from Help Desk Support and Application Development to Network Engineering, CIOs, CTOs, and more. This individual enjoys developing and coaching others while helping set the strategic direction for the team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise existing recruiting team and set example for the team through activity.
Provide training and leadership for junior Recruiters.
Run daily meetings to increase efficiency and holding recruiters accountable to production and expectations.
Identify, interview, and evaluate candidates for client opportunities.
Foster long-term relationships with professionals among the IT community; regularly attending local user groups and networking events.
Review and understand technical job requirement requirements and technical skills.
Develop strategies designed to qualify candidates through various tools or networks.
Work with sales team to help drive the delivery strategy for consultants and candidates.
Collaborate with teammates to fulfill open positions across other lines of business and/or national practices as appropriate.
Actively markets in-demand skill sets to the sales team.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree required.
Minimum of 5 to 10 years' technology recruiting experience.
10 years' IT recruitment experienced in lieu of degree considered.
Active member of the IT community, networking groups.
Experience leading and managing high a performing IT recruitment team.
Technical Skills:
Must have working knowledge of MS Office Suite
Experience with Bullhorn preferred.
Basic Skills:
Able to work with a sense of urgency and meet tight deadlines; Organized, detailed, and results driven.
