This will be a hybrid role, with 3–4 days in the office and 1–2 days from home. You will join us on a full–time permanent basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of GBP33k – GBP39k per annum.
We are a small team of 25 staff members in the UK, but we are expanding. This is an exciting new role, with plenty of scope for professional development. We are ideally looking for someone who will grow with the Charity, and go on to establish an HR department within the next 5 years.
As our HR Busniess Partner, the successful candidate will manage Human Resource activities for the charity.*
*Reporting to the CEO and to the Head of Services, the role will include HR planning, admin, recruitment, reporting, updating policies, supporting line managers with performance management, arranging training, advising staff and line managers on HR related issues
Key responsibilities of the HR Business Partner:
– Develop a plan for HR activities in line with organisational strategy– Execute the HR plan, ensuring a robust HR service is provided to all employees and line managers– Improve the HR function within the organisation to ensure standardisation, objectivity, and improve equal opportunities– Ensure all HR policies and procedures are up to date, in line with employment law and best practice– Ensure all HR records are up to date in line with legal requirements, and AFH policies and procedures– Manage Health and Safety, mitigating risks and act as the H&S focal point– Manage Employee and Volunteer Safeguarding, ensuring the safety of staff and volunteers– Manage Organisational Policies, and to ensure compliance to organisational policies

What were looking for in our HR Business Partner:
– Educated to Degree Level– CIPD level 5 or equivalent– 5 years Generalist HR Experience– Understanding of employment law– Understanding of HMRC and NI– Strong written and spoken English essential– Experience in a non–profit or a similar organisation desirable– Understanding of international HR desirable
