Founded and led by billion-dollar investment and operations company Founder and Executive Chairman, Peter Rex, ResProp (part of the Rex family of companies) is looking for a HR Business Partner to lead our HR team as we launch a rapid growth initiative.
ResProp is revolutionizing the real estate industry with the combination of elite talent, operational excellence and cutting edge technology solutions.
Based in Austin, TX, the HR Business Partner will oversee all HR capabilities, and act as a business partner and advisor to property management, asset management, and business development teammates on all HR related matters. This person should have a passion for creating smart, scaleable HR practices to support hyper-growth across multiple businesses. The Business Partner can quickly build rapport with teammates and provide excellent guidance on complicated employment issues. The ideal candidate is not easily shaken, a proven leader, and has unparalleled discretion.
In year one you will:
Partner with senior business leaders to develop and execute core HR duties across all our businesses (tech, asset management, property management)
Integrate HR oversight across organizations in high growth, and also ‘turn around’ while directing HR programs and policies that support these stages of development
Own and manage all payroll, benefit programs, and all necessary legal deliverables (FMLA, Workers Comp, etc)
Oversee the implementation of HR Company policies and procedures, compensation, and benefits
Manage HR team and coach others throughout the company

The ideal candidate has:
5 years experience in human resources (2 years in a leadership role)
Extreme character, talent, drive, and teaming ability
The ability to manage HR functions in a dynamic work environment across multiple businesses
Experience handling visa and immigration issues
High adaptability, grit, and backbone
