Description

The Organization Effectiveness Lead optimizes the effectiveness of a company, business unit, or team. Analyze the internal structure of the organization and create strategies to maximize employee work output and effectively utilize employee skills. The Organization Effectiveness Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

Responsibilities

The Organization Effectiveness Lead reviews the organizational structure, determines changes to organizational responsibilities, staffing, managerial skills and the quality of work life. Ensures policy/program changes affecting employees do not conflict with the organization's objectives. May develop change management strategies, design, and implement development programs, and drive talent mobility initiatives. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision. Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Required Qualifications


Minimum 6 years in the strategy design and execution of large-scale/department-wide initiatives targeting improvements in Leadership Development, Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, and Change Management
Minimum 2 years of project leadership and strong facilitation experience demonstrating ability to track for success and outcomes
Demonstrated success developing, designing, and executing development programs and strategies
Demonstrated people leadership (indirect or direct) experience
Ability to analyze data and trends and make recommendations to support Leadership Development, Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, and Change Management
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to present in large groups
Superior attention to detail, ability to meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Must be able to work collaboratively across multiple levels of leadership and enterprise partners
Proven ability to improve existing processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and especially Excel
Must be able to travel up to 10%


Work-At-Home Requirements


At minimum, a download speed of 25 mbps and an upload speed of 10 mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information


Preferred Qualifications


Bachelor's degree
Proven ability to work independently
Experience leading and managing teams
Background or familiarity with operations


Covid-19 Vaccine Policy

According to Humana's COVID-19 policy, vaccination and masking is required regardless of vaccination status (with exception for eating and drinking) for associates working in a clinical setting where patients receive care (e.g., pharmacy retail locations, clinics, home care).
