****Job Description Summary
You will be responsible for uploading data, processing and maintaining efficient Human Resource Management tools and systems. This role will assist in organizing paperwork and communications for benefits and retirement plans.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities
Answer phones and email inquiries, respond to employee questions and help other members of the team on Benefits, Retiree Benefits, COBRA, Disability, 401k and Pension projects. Escalate calls to other team members as needed.
Pay vendor bills through A/P system and track and record all payments in an Excel worksheet.
Enter employee data changes into HR system ensuring data is accurate. Run standard reports as requested.
Assist with 401k activities such as funding, reporting and trouble-shooting issues with employees or file feeds between the HR system and vendor.
Support Open Enrollment activities for SUEZ NA (ES, M&S and Utility), AS and Canada such as answer phone calls and questions, contact vendors with escalated issues, distribute materials, and troubleshoot issues in open enrollment system.
Assist with programming new plans and data entry as needed in benefit admin system.
Other administrative duties as needed for special projects.
Qualifications Education / Experience / Background
2 years’ experience working with Benefits and Retirement plans
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Must have excellent computer skills, including data entry and troubleshooting problems. Experience using Business Solver, People Soft Accounting and ADP a plus.
Excel and Word experience a must, PowerPoint experience is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, including written and oral
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high volume environment and finish projects to completion
