Duties
The Global Benefits Professional
will be responsible for all aspects of the research, design, development,
implementation, communication, administration and compliance of International
local benefits, U.S. expatriate and third-country national plans and firm-wide
travel related benefit programs and policies.
The ideal candidate will

A highly intelligent individual with an exceptional understanding of International
benefit plans and programs and how they improve and/or impact an organization.
Someone confident, assertive and professional, skilled at managing the
financial cost and risk control solutions, as well as, evaluating and effectively
integrating benefit plans in multiple countries as appropriate.
Required
7 years of benefits administration
experience within a global law firm or professional services organization
3 years of recent experience
handling international benefits programs
Demonstrated experience researching,
analyzing and negotiating a variety of offerings including Medical, Dental,
LTD, Life, Pension, etc.
Must have completed at least
4 renewals processes within a global organization
Expert level knowledge of international
benefits compliance laws and regulations parameters
Great ability to synthesize,
interpret and summarize information from various sources
Understanding of payroll and
accounting functions, specifically related to their interaction with benefits
Excellent technical skills including
data mining and manipulation
Highly effective interpersonal,
communication and presentation skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word,
PowerPoint and Outlook
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
including, formulas, hlookups, vlookups, pivot tables, sorting etc.
Flexible to work hours to meet
the needs of international offices as needed
Ability to travel internationally
as needed
Specialized HR Certifications
a plus (SPHR, GPHR, CEBS, etc.)
Bachelor's Degree required
