Duties
SUMMARY:
The Lateral Recruiting Coordinators will
source, interview and refer applicants for associate and counsel positions
for all locations. The Coordinators will recruit for specific practice
groups and also deal with other positions, as needed. These professionals
will also participate with Seasonal recruitment which includes On Campus
and Summer programs and should enjoy traveling to the top law schools in
the country with their HR team.
DUTIES:
Assist Recruiting Manager with all aspects
of the lateral hiring process and special projects
Assist Practice Group leaders to identify
staffing needs, search strategies and draft advertisements
Source candidates, extend invitations
to interview and maintain status reports
Screen unsolicited resumes and respond to
applicants
Coordinate interview schedules, collect feedback
and act as liaison throughout the process
Facilitate decision making process and follow
up with offer letters and onboarding documents
Record resume submissions in ATS and ensure
file retention policy
Maintain relationships with legal search firms
and advise on available positions
Keep up to date on legal hiring, vendors and
trends
Assist with lateral recruiting marketing and
lateral career page
Assist with lateral integration and diversity
initiatives
Create offer and arrival packets; prepare
for new associate arrivals and orientation
Organize payments of placement fees and reimbursement
of expenses related to lateral hiring
Prepare drafts of fee agreements for approval
by Lateral Recruiting Manager and maintain tracking chart
Collaborate with HR and Conflicts team to
conduct formal due diligence for hires, and internal screening
Required
Bachelor’s degree
A minimum of 3-4 years of recruitment exposure
in a professional services company preferably in a law firm, financial
institution, management consulting or executive search firm devoted to
recruiting top talent.
Ability to effectively function in a fast
paced service environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
and an attention to detail
Highly organized and able to juggle many tasks
simultaneously
Ability to prioritize, coordinate workload,
work independently
Communicate professionally and diplomatically
on all levels
Possess a positive high energy attitude
Experience with Word, PowerPoint and
Excel will cross-train on LawCruit
