My client is an industry leading national company and is looking for a Payroll Manager of at least 5 years’ experience in payroll and at least 2 years managing. This person will be proficient in ADP and have experience in weekly and biweekly payroll of over 1,000 employees in multiple states.
Responsibilities
Manage a payroll team in weekly and bi-weekly handling various payroll aspects including garnishments, 401(k), associate stock options, purchase plans, direct deposits, compensation and benefits in accordance with federal and state withholding requirements.
Establishes payroll work procedures and work schedules
Review data reconciliation during payroll processing
Maintains the processing of Kronos time clock data
Operate as the subject matter expert and escalation point to resolve issues
Communicate actively with Finance, and other accounting departments with payroll related information and issues
Assists internal and external auditors
Multi task, prioritize and delegate work to manage team workload effectively
Develop and maintain written policies and procedures
Manage hiring, termination, review, and training
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Related
5 years’ experience in Payroll with ADP payroll and ADP EV5
Corporate Setting experience. Payroll of over 1,000 employees
Required 2 years of managing experience
Multiple state experience
In depth knowledge of multi- state employment law as it relates to payroll
Ability to research payroll
Compensation:
Salary range of $70,000.00 to $100,000.00 depending on experience
