The Director of People Operations builds, implements and maintains the people systems and operations for Lookout. You will have responsibility for all technology related to running people operations, as well as a deeply analytical mind for problem solving and scaling a company. You will implement and manage technology such as the human resources management system, applicant tracking system and various tools to support people programs. You will use data to drive decision-making, propose process changes and measure key people results. You will also run programs such as on-boarding, immigration and relocation, self service employee tools, and the first line of response for employee needs. This global role will focus on improving the employee experience, increasing the scale and reliability of people programs and provide a platform to effectively deliver people programs around the globe.
Responsibilities:
Technology, Team and Tools
Implement and maintain a single source of organizational truth for all employee information
Assess, implement and manage all people-related tools including HRIS, ATS, Learning Management Systems, Recognition tools, performance management tools and cutting edge technology that will support the size and scale of the company
Create a solution for employee inquiries of all kinds that scales globally and provides a superb experience for employees
Build and lead a successful People Operations team with incredible employee focus and extraordinarily high service levels.
Analytics and Assessments:
Run analytics and build dashboards for common metrics as well as ad hoc reporting
Become an expert in the data available in disparate sources, and use this data to execute sophisticated quantitative analyses to produce actionable insights.
Present analyses and key results in cross-functional forums to enable decision-making, and collect requirements from these stakeholders for follow-up analyses and action.
Structure and perform analysis independently, and conduct research to uncover the insights that support our recommendations.
Build and maintain cutting edge people programs that engage and motivate our employees
Build scale and continuity into our current and future programs, as well as be a valued advisor on data-based decisions
Must Have
BA/BS degree preferred
8-10 years of work experience handling people operations, HRIS, and analytics. Management/leadership experience of 5 years.
Direct experience with Workday, Greenhouse (or equivalent ATS) and knowledge of cutting edge tools and systems for people operations
Spreadsheet software experience (e.g., Excel, Google sheets or other spreadsheet software).
Ability to self-start and self-direct work in an unstructured environment, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
Data-driven and highly analytical, and able to translate data and trends into powerful strategies and compelling messaging.
Tremendous communication skills and client service-oriented, with an emphasis on creativity and diligence.
