Position Summary

The Sr. Manager, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) is a key member of Under Armour’s (UA’s) DE&I Team. This position leads components of the organization’s multi-year global diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy which focuses on building a diverse and representative teammate population, elevating the teammate experience through culture improvements focused on inclusion, and supporting external initiatives that authentically represent UA’s values, in particular, Stand for Equality .

Essential Duties & Responsibilities


Leads all aspects of UA’s global Employee Resource Group (ERG) program, including setting the strategy, managing the global ERG budgets, measuring ERG impact, reporting out to the executive team, and indirectly managing the ERG leadership teams
Acts as the main point of contact for UA’s business unit DE&I Councils, including acting as a DE&I subject matter expert, making connections with cross-functional partners, increasing collaboration across the Councils, and reporting out to the organization
Manages the DE&I metrics reporting strategy and implementation, including the creation of materials for executive and Board level presentations
Partners closely with the HR analytics team and HR business partners to assess business unit DE&I progress
Leads UA’s DE&I external recognition strategy
Completes existing benchmarking indexes, including the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index, Bloomberg Gender Equality Index, Seramount Inclusion Index, and Disability Equity Index
Identifies gaps and develops action plans to close gaps prior to the next evaluation cycle
Represents the UA DE&I team at external conferences and to external partners


Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)


Prior experience leading Employee Resource Groups on a global scale preferred
Familiarity with various DE&I benchmarking tools
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Ability to work cross-functionally, collaborate and influence multiple stakeholder groups
Ability to multi-task and work in a face-paced environment
Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) certification preferred


Education And / Or Experience


Bachelors degree, preferred
10 years of Human Resources experience, with at least five (5) years of experience in a DE&I role


Other Requirements


Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our global headquarters in Baltimore, MD
Work-Life Integration (WLI) Designation: Two (2) days a week in-office, the remainder of work week remote at home
Travel: 5-10% annually, domestic and international
