The role is integral to executing the Aon strategy that focuses on seeking talent through campus connections and relationships with job seekers who are launching their careers.What do you get to do?As you learn the strategies of recruiting within a large global organization, you will practice Early Careers Recruiting techniques with internal clients, external partners and candidates through:Collaboration with business leaders will help you assess and implement talent strategy.Showcasing your understanding of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion by developing diverse candidate slates to present to hiring managers.Contributing to the talent strategy by sourcing qualified external talent, screening resumes and profiles, and conducting interviews as you flex your communication skills by maintaining regular dialogue with business and HR leaders, including facilitating feedback sessions with hiring managers.Learning to use a robust Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to handle and track applicant and candidate statuses and ensuring a seamless onboarding process in partnership with the Operations team.Throwing big parties – sort of; you’ll coordinate large interview days (including schedules and meals), inviting up to 40 candidates to interview onsite.Practicing your presentation skills as you extend offers and encourage students to join Aon.Demonstrating knowledge of Campus Recruiting to design process improvements to positively impact the candidate and hiring manager experiences.Required Skills: 2 years of recruitment experience; ideally in high-volume or Campus/Early Careers recruiting will bring you success. Experience with an ATS – we use iCIMS -- and proficiency in Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) will allow you to run your work effectively. Bachelor’s degree required.To be successful in this role, you should already have or be working on the following skills:Flexibility and adaptability to shifting priorities with an ability to “think outside of the box” and strategically approach problem resolution.A history of meeting tight (sometimes multiple)time-constrained requirements and a true desire to be proactive and persistent in your work.Ability to use discretion and handle confidential information.A tendency to be focused on the relationship aspect with candidates, recruiters, hiring managers, etc.) and collaborate as a great teammate.You will have opportunities to travel to universities and Aon offices (about 10-15% between Sept-March).We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment.
