The Manager, Talent Sourcing is a part of the Global Talent Acquisition Strategy team – Targeted Sourcing Team. Targeted Sourcing supports identifying and attracting top diverse talent to **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.. by fully leveraging the following key strategic areas: national partnerships, proactive direct sourcing, specialized marketing initiatives/events, referrals and military veteran strategy and sourcing.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB: 

  • Lead in identifying and developing a pipeline of prospective candidates for employment, usually from a specific demographic or industry segment, this includes just-in-time sourcing for key roles across the enterprise and roles specific to Targeted Sourcing’s DE&I talent programs (i.e., Glide – Relaunch, Career Development Cohort Program, and NC Governor’s HBCU Internship Program)
  • Leverage sourcing tools (i.e., LinkedIn, Indeed, Canvas, and national diversity partnership databases) to maximize talent outreach and support recruiting efforts across all diversity dimensions
  • Create and execute diversity marketing campaigns and outreach to diverse early and lateral talent, career centers, key faculty/professors, student clubs and alumni organizations, diversity alliances to educate potential talent on career opportunities and events
  • Conduct market and business landscape research and participate in special projects to further diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) efforts
  • Monitor and analyze the success of the sourcing strategies to enable data-driven decisions for the future
  • Represent the company at national, regional or local networking and recruiting events and may organize career fairs or conferences that deliver impact and support our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) strategies, specifically targeting diverse audiences
  • Contribute to large-scale planning related to functional area deliverables
  • Cultivate relationships with more experienced level external, often passive, talent, using a variety of techniques to identify and contact candidates
  • Develop recruiting strategies, and external partnership program concepts designed to raise awareness of Wells Fargo's brand and support diversity recruiting efforts
  • Track candidate activity to anticipate recruitment opportunities
  • Partner with Recruiters and employee networks to improve employee referrals, sourcing, and diverse representation in hiring
  • Advise business leaders, hiring managers and recruiters on targeted recruiting practices
  • Resolve moderately complex issues by creating and leading talent sourcing strategies that meet project deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements within Talent Sourcing functional area
  • Collaborate and consult with Talent Sourcing peers, colleagues, and middle level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:

  • 5+ years of Talent Sourcing or Recruiting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Developing and maintaining internal/external relationships
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders
  • High professional standards for customer service, confidentiality, and quality of work

Education:  Bachelor’s degree required

Skills:          

  • Demonstrated experience with successful execution of direct sourcing methodologies and tools (i.e., internet sourcing, networking, cold calling, research, etc.)
  • Demonstrated expertise using Workday
  • Ability to prequalify and present initial opportunity and value proposition to identified candidates.
  • Applicant tracking system and/or candidate relationship management (CRM) system experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of HR policies, practices and procedures, including an understanding of legal and OFCCP recruiting requirements 
  • Comfortable partnering and working on a virtual team
  • Maintain in-depth and up-to-date business intelligence of relevant competitors, market conditions, hiring trends, and other relevant market data.
  • Ability to deliver a positive and engaging candidate experience for internal and external candidates throughout the hiring and onboarding process
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
