POSITION SUMMARY
The University Recruitment Specialist temp will work closely with the University Relations & Recruitment team to support spring recruiting for our Early Talent Program (interns and co-ops). The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for ensuring a high level of customer service, exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience, while maintaining consistent communication to all parties involved throughout the interviewing process.
Length of assignment: 4-5 months, starting ASAP in January and will run through May/June.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for full lifecycle recruitment for open intern and co-op positions. This may include: sourcing, interviewing, scheduling candidates, providing feedback, and negotiating & extending offers.
Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates and hiring managers
Meet with hiring managers to discuss role responsibilities and requirements; provide consistent communication throughout open search.
Maintain applicant tracking system (Workday), tracking candidate status, managing job postings and maintaining ad hoc recruitment documents, metrics & reporting.
Support university recruitment activities such as interview days, information sessions and career fairs
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications or a related field strongly preferred
At least one year of prior recruiting experience or other professional services firm experience preferred
Ability to multi-task, have superior judgment, professionalism, poise in a fast paced environment
Ensure the highest standard of confidentiality and professionalism
Proficient in Microsoft Office and recruiting systems (Workday experience a plus)
Excellent verbal and written communication
Great initiative with the ability to be a collaborative and team player
Positive, professional attitude and presence, ability to exhibit exceptional customer service/interpersonal skills
Strong sense of urgency and follow-up skills
Pay Range:
$30.00 - $35.00
