Payroll Specialist - Hybrid - Chicago
Compensation:
$50,000-60,000
Role:
This is a standalone position that will report directly to the Controller. You will manage all payroll related activities for employee and contractor wages.
Responsibilities:
Support full cycle payroll, including data entry, review and reconciliation and correction of information to ensure an accurate payroll;
Review system-generated deductions during payroll process to highlight items needing benefits resolution;
Process other compensation or deduction changes (e.g. annual bonuses, severance pay, taxes, worker’s compensation);
Process off cycle electronic payments;
Handle rejected direct deposits, voids and other miscellaneous manual payroll and benefits entries;
Process W-2 and other tax forms
Qualifications:
1-3 year's of full cycle payroll experience
Payroll software experience. (Required)
Experience handling multi-state payroll for 100 employees.
