This person will drive development andexecution of DaVita's new, high-priority national Patient Educator &Educator Manager training, onboarding, and development program. ThesePatient Educators will be responsible for delivering a specialized educationprogram for patients new to dialysis. The Educator Managers will beresponsible for the overall outcomes of the program in their geography and forthe readiness and impact of the educators on their team.This project is part of DaVita's innovative strategy to grow Home dialysis.Home dialysis provides important clinical benefits for patients, is a keydriver of DaVita financial and operational performance, and is a strategicpriority for the DaVita Village. In 2019, CMS announced its intention to see80% of all new dialysis patients either receive a transplant or treat on aHome modality. DaVita is the largest US provider of Home dialysis, has beeninvesting significantly in a differentiated offering for the last severalyears, and is uniquely positioned to continue to lead the way in the space.As part of the Home Operations team in the Home National team, this teammatewill support growth of Home modalities.Responsibilities of this Manager include, but are not limited to:Overall:Become a Subject Matter Expert on Transitional Care Programs and ModalityChoice Programs (i.e., patient education curriculum, teammate facingresources, and operational processes)Lead Training Development and Deployment as outlined belowTraining DevelopmentMaintain and enhance existing teammate facing training and developmentresourcesDevelop new training resources, expanding the existing curriculum forPatient Educators and Educator ManagersCreate high-quality visuals, collateral, and training resourcesMaintain learning assets, product/curriculum and ensure adherence toquality standards; Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure all fieldtraining content is kept current with new releasesEnsure aligned and coordinated content and training experiences forfield-based Educators and Educator ManagersProject Management & Deployment ManagementExecute training sessions and onboarding coordination for 50 PatientEducators & 5 Educator ManagersFacilitate onboarding, training, and development sessions for PatientEducators & Educator Managers (in-person & virtual) or arrangealternate facilitation by role experts. Act as a mentor/coach to these roleexpDevelop and maintain relationships with field operators and the National HomeModalities teamProvide Feedback and coaching direct to teammates in training; generate andprovide feedback direct to managers on teammates' training progress andobserved barriers.Work collaboratively with Field leaders and managers to develop individualizedperformance improvement plans for any teammates falling behind in trainingCollaborate with the team to overcome any organizational obstacles encounteredCollaborate with Teammates outside of Home team to gather data and informationProvide recommendations to adjust plans and strategies accordinglyProactivity identify, communicate and escalate issues or risks to leadershipas necessaryFuture Innovations: partner with Patient Education, Clinical Enterprise,Field leadership teammates to develop enhancements to teammate and patientfacing education based on feedback from educatorsSupport other new starts, conversion or loss management projects as they ariseTravel up to 15% as neededQualifications:Bachelor's degree required4 years strategy, project management, program management, oroperational improvement experience within a consulting or corporateenvironmentWork experience in creation and deployment of healthcare training anddevelopment courses and adult learning programs is highly desiredAbility to plan, manage, and
