This role is responsible for helping drive the people agenda for the shared services of the home office population. This individual will be an important partner to their assigned leadership team and be the primary point person on the execution of the people strategy. Lead the implementation of all HR programs to drive change across assigned business units. Individual will be expected to be a collaborative partner and ensure the people strategy aligns with the needs of the business and the company's focus on digital strategy initiatives.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
*Partner and drive the people agenda for the assigned business units; main areas of focus are; Talent Management & Development, Performance Management, Succession Planning, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), and Change Management *Lead, coach and partner with leaders through people issues to be forward thinking about implications of people/ business decisions *Coach and develop assigned business unit's leaders, managers, and emerging talent *Proactively provide solutions related to associate population, talent, and organizational matters to HRBP and senior business leaders *Implement companywide HR programs, ensuring programs remain relevant in meeting needs of the business, timing that aligns with store goals; provide feedback to Lead HRBP on business needs *Drive the talent planning process for the assigned business units. *Assess, diagnose, and create plans around potential exposure in assigned business units. Partner with Associate Relations when needed. *Champion the organizational values and culture *Provide business partner expertise to individuals seeking resolution to all HR matters that arise; compliance, performance management, policies, and liaison to other HR functional areas. *Succession Planning: Prepare and contribute to the talent review process by developing collective succession plans in conjunction with business partner leaders. *Associate Development: strategically manage careers, in partnership with Leaders and HRBPS, on an individual basis by building development plans, defining training opportunities and assisting with the merit process for personal and professional growth. *Workforce Planning: Evaluate recommendation for structure improvements ensuring alignment with business objectives. *Manage Headcount and Compensation costs across your respective departments, ensuring accuracy in both forecasting and actual allocation and spend. *Performance Plans: monitor performance plans and other disciplinary programs and actions, including coaching and employee terminations.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
*2-4 years of experience as HRBP preferably in retail space *Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills *Informed about issues impacting the retail industry. *Proven track record of influencing and advising leaders of an organization
