About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to oversee a thriving benefits department for an organization that offers an array of services. From benefit administration to HR services and compliance, they focus on providing a complete experience to their clients and their employee benefits programs. In this role you will be responsible to help grow and develop the benefits division of the agency and ensure the day-to-day operations are running smoothly, clients are receiving exemplary service, and the benefits and sales teams have what they need to provide exceptional client service.
Duties & Responsibilities
Understand and oversee client goals, needs, and objectives while developing a comprehensive, customized strategy to meet them
Support agency service model and ensure that proper support is being delivered at all levels
Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects
Create, plan, and deliver presentations on company products and services
Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects
Collaborate with Benefit Analysts and the sales team to develop plan design changes and overall benefit strategy for current and prospective clients
Organize training to ensure an accurate understanding of products, compliance, policy requirements, and benefit trends
Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree required with 10 years of experience working in Health and Welfare/benefits administration
Experience in PEO and/or HRO industry extremely beneficial
Knowledgeable on ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, IRS, and DOL regulations impacting employee benefit programs
Experience with Zywave/Brokerage Builder and Ease a plus
Compensation & Benefits
$100-125,000 bonus comprehensive benefits package
