Saïd Business School is recruiting for a HR Shared Services Manager reporting to the Head of HR.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the HR and OD Service. In this role you will provide leadership and management to the shared services team and it is an essential customer focussed, comprehensive, pragmatic, legally compliant HR advisory service to Managers at all levels within both the Saïd Business School and our subsidiary, Oxford Saïd Business School Limited (OSBSL), whilst maintaining a professional and corporate image.
Your key areas of responsibility will include all aspects of the employee lifecycle in particular contract management, onboarding, performance, development and retention. You will also be required to ensure workforce data is accurate and produce regular management information for the organisation. You will be expected to be confident, knowledgeable and experienced in HR systems, processes and procedures and fully conversant with the current Immigration and Visa Regulations and UK Employment Law, using your expertise and knowledge to deliver business focussed outcomes.
You will use your analytical skills to provide regular, and ad hoc, workforce data reports, which support continuous improvement in the management and monitoring of key performance indicators such as turnover, sickness absence, performance management and reward and you will be expected to partner with the Resourcing and Organisational Development team to provide a seamless and high standard of service throughout the employee life cycle.
To be considered for this role you will need to have proven experience in a Senior HR Advisor role (or equivalent) delivering successful employee relation case outcomes and proven experience of managing a team and work collaboratively within a successful team with good interpersonal skills.
You will need to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of HR practises and UK employment law; e.g. GDPR, equality and diversity, immigration law and have a understanding of the confidential nature of personnel administration.
You must have a high customer service ethic, with demonstrable experience of delivering to high standards along with a track record of establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
