POSITION PROFILE
We are a collaborative, dynamic HR Team looking for an HRIS Manager to provide expert level support and technical expertise regarding all Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) related projects in Dayforce. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting, executing and advancing Human Resources analytics, including data governance practices, tools and technology to provide actionable information and insights about our Associates. You will collect, compile and analyze HR data, metrics and statistics to support and influence strategic business decisions.
As the HRIS Manager, you will collaborate closely with Finance, Business Units, Human Resources and IT to build and maintain the infrastructure required to collect and analyze HR data and offer actionable analysis and reporting to Managers and Executives.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert-level support and technical expertise regarding all Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) related projects including implementing Performance Management and LMS systems
Develop and implement strategy for standardizing HRIS policies and procedures
Develop both ad hoc and automated reports and queries while managing confidential data
Implement and maintain an HR scorecard / dashboard to report HR metrics to Senior Leadership
Serve as the data steward and main point of contact for all people analytics
Configure, test, and maintain documentation of HRIS changes and updates
Create project plans to implement new initiatives
Develop and maintain user support documentation and provide training and coaching to end users
Lead quality assurance (QA) and testing activities to support all HRIS interfaces with other company software applications
Address escalated HRIS issues and concerns quickly and efficiently to ensure business continuity
Provide periodic and ongoing analytics for Human Resources and management
Assess organizational needs and current HRIS systems and make recommendations for improvements
Responsible for understanding and complying with all policies, procedures, and regulations
Engage with Global Payroll to drive best processes with regards to HR – Payroll data and integrations
Create best practice for processes pertaining to SOX controls
Required Skills
BS/BA degree preferred or equivalent work experience
5-7 years of HRIS experience
Required Experience
Demonstrated customer service focus and ability to prioritize competing projects
Advanced analytical and problem resolution skills for complex issues
Comprehensive knowledge of the field’s concepts, principles and best practices (Ceridian DayForce product focus a plus)
Demonstrated ability to find creative solutions that meet competing needs of multiple constituents
Strong problem-solving abilities - thinking through and understanding all consequences and implications before putting recommendations forward
Ability to accomplish goals by influencing others, understanding different perspectives/approaches and by communicating effectively
Demonstrated project and process management skills
Demonstrated flexibility to lead, follow and be a team member as circumstances dictate
Strong business acumen, including understanding of basic business and financial concepts
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced MS Excel skills
Experience in team leadership
