Financial Analyst

Profile

We are seeking a Financial Analyst for a very important client.

Responsible for assisting the FP&A senior financial analyst and the overall Finance and Accounting team on various finance tasks and processes including, but not limited to, weekly updates to revenue and spend reports, account reconciliation, system loads, data analysis, and ad-hoc requests from Finance & Accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

Weekly sales flash load and revenue, open order and customer tracker updates

Expense and Headcount report preparation, distribution and follow ups

Data integrity and quality maintenance in various systems

Ad-hoc data retrieves in ERP / Access databases and loads

Overall FP&A and Accounting support in close process

Partnering with other Finance colleagues, key Functional Owners, Division Finance, Accounting as needed.

Support preparation of financial reports for division management and non-management groups including business units, stakeholders, creditors, regulatory agencies and tax authorities.

Other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Requirement:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

BS degree in finance, accounting, or related field

2-5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis and reporting

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrates leadership abilities

Excellent analytical skills

Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills required

ERP system experience required - Hyperion Financial Management / Hyperion System 9 experience preferred.

Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is required.
