The Recruiter is responsible for selecting recruits, and for long-term recruiting and staffing plans in line with business needs. This job coordinates with universities to improve the image and visibility of the company on campus.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Represent Schlumberger professionally at recruiting activities including career fairs, university and interviews​.
Acts as a first point of contact for new recruits. ​Manage candidates through the interview process and keep them informed along the way​.
Establish and coordinate recruiting events.
Conduct screening interviews with representatives of the business groups and refer screened candidates for further consideration.
Coordinate induction of new recruits and follow progress and success of new hires through the first year of their career.
Help coach and develop new team members.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Comply with Schlumberger’s Data Protection and Privacy Guidelines.
Previous experience and competencies:
Minimum bachelor’s degree in HR or a technical field – master’s degree or equivalent preferred
Minimum 3 years’ experience of full cycle recruiting,
Previous experience with high volume fast paste recruiting.
highly organized and the ability to update the Applicant tracking system
Previous exposure to hiring and attracting experienced talent – Industrial, Energy and Technology sectors preferred
Previous experience with oil and gas services is an asset
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and the ability to speak to a large group of candidates
Previous experience with social media candidate search and attraction.
Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in Canada, without sponsorship.
