The HRBP acts as a strategic partner to the business by embedding corporate HR strategy into the day-to-day work. He/she supports key strategic priorities and drives effective organizational design, talent management, performance management, employee relations and rewards initiatives within their assigned business unit.
Responsibilities:
Accountable for the performance & results of an HR team or HR processes/programs/projects
Accountable for influencing directors and officers and supporting their decision-making
Accountable for managing a team; including hiring, goal setting, and performance development. Sets clear expectations and holds employees accountable. Provides regular coaching and feedback.
Provides leadership and direction through a group at all levels to mobilize HR initiatives, strategies, and programs.
Supports development of area and team strategy to achieve key business objectives. Works cross-functionally, including with corporate and field HRMs and other teams, to drive positive business results.
Responsible for continuous improvement, change management, and employee engagement initiatives.
Supervisory/Management Requirements
HR technical team support expertise with no direct reports. Work primarily achieved by an individual or through project teams.
May also:
Indirectly lead or supervise individuals
Manage a project without direct reports
Have responsibility vendor/third part management
Qualifications:
9 years or more of HR experience or equivalent
5 years or more of process/program management
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in or supporting technology business teams
Travel:
up to 25% to corporate office. This person could sit in either our Corporate MN or Seattle Office and work in a hybrid model.
