Position Summary
The Teammate Relations Partner is a critical member of Under Amour’s Teammate Relations team. This team functions as the unbiased voice of UA, and is responsible for developing and implementing an employee relations program to effectively and consistently deal with complaints, investigations, and performance issues to promote positive employee relations. Our goal is to gain a better understanding of team dynamics and provide solutions to improve team functioning. We proactively address systemic root cause issues that prevent us from meeting our organizational goals. We do that by leading focus groups, providing performance coaching, and looking into teammate complaints and concerns. We deal with complex, high-risk, and/or sensitive individual and team-related issues, and make recommendations for solutions to address workplace issues with the goal of promoting an inclusive workplace that is free of discrimination and harassment. This position is located at our Baltimore, MD global headquarters and supports our retail teammate population.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Directly leads investigations, teammate complaints, and organizational concerns with minimal oversight, except those involving executive leaders
Prepares investigative summaries, reports, and makes recommendations on next steps to the business
Provides expert advice, counsel, and direction to leaders (Sr. Director and below), and HR Business Partners regarding best practices, policies, and employment laws (in partnership with the Company’s In-house Employment Counsel)
Identifies and supports in strategically managing systemic root cause issues through the alignment of team and individual goals, leadership capabilities, change management efforts, and/or change in strategic direction objectives
Recommends internal and external services and resources that resolve gaps that prevent us from meeting our organizational objectives
Supports and coaches Managers in developing, delivering, and monitoring Performance Improvement Plans and reviews complaints or concerns from teammates regarding the process
Provides consultation to managers during mid and end-of-year performance review process
May serve as a mediator in managing conflict resolution and addressing challenging team dynamics
Creates and delivers team intervention work including New Leader Assimilations, Focus Groups, and Listening Sessions as needed
Conducts exit interviews, and reviews exit survey data to identify trends to offer recommendations for improvement to culture
Supports and coaches managers in delivering and executing the corrective action process
Drives consistency in policy and its application based on intelligence gathered from facts and trends
Education And / Or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university
Minimum of six (6) years of experience in a Human Resource function, preferably at least one (1) year in an HRBP and/or employee relations role
Direct employee-facing experience

Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our global headquarters in Baltimore, MD
Return To Work Designation: One (1) day a week in-office, the remainder of work week remote

Base salary range: $85,147.00 - $117,077.40
Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual’s relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
