About the position:
The Technical Recruiter will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, evaluating and recommending candidates for technical positions (developers, project managers, engineers, QA leads)
Job Responsibilities:
Work closely with the recruitment and client services team to develop creative sourcing strategies and identify highly qualified applicants for all positions related to software development.
Spend time with the technology team, learn the workflow of job requirement and have a clear understanding of the company values. Filter candidates to match the job requirements and company values.
Represent the company and its values in all interactions with potential candidates.
Identify and attract candidates, talk to candidates, explain the job requirements, arrange phone calls and in-person meetings.
Track all candidates, interactions and keep the applicant tracking database most up to date.
Maintain recruitment metrics on a daily basis (calls made, candidates sourced, interviews scheduled)
Handle multiple requirements at a time
Requirements:
Must have solid understanding of software web and mobile development. If you have worked in agile environments before it is a huge plus and you will really enjoy the job.
Proven track-record of getting things done.
Demonstrated ability to assume increasing responsibility and handle multiple requirements at any given time
Possess strong knowledge of technical job market and web based internet recruiting methods (Dice/other websites)
Should have basic understanding of technology and be conversant with technical terms like agile, testing, Java, .NET, PL/SQL, QA, JavaScript etc.
